SUMMER KICK-OFF

Join us for a fun night as we Kick off the summer with our new show featuring The Home of Sapiens and No Mortgage! Expect a night of laughs and fun as these two new Richmond groups go head to head to deliver gut-busting comedy. The show is on June 6th at the Performance Hall in the Richmond Arts Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate. The doors open at 6:30 pm with the show starting at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Tickets are $15.00 and can be bought online at plainstage.com or the door. See you there!

Our Story

Richmond Improv Theatre Society (RITS) started as just a couple of friends who just wanted to connect and make comedy around Richmond. But since its humble beginnings it has become a name stay in the community. From doing fundraisers like Laughter is the Best Medicine, to starting performance groups like TMPImprov, Extra Relish, and Bored of Directors. RITS aims to be the community hub for improv comedy in Richmond by providing equitable access to performances and classes so everyone in the Richmond community can participate. Richmond Improv Theatre Society is proudly supported by the City of Richmond Arts & Culture Project Assistance Grant.
