TMP Improv
Tickle Me Pickle (TMP) aimed to bring improv theatre experiences to individuals in Richmond. TMP provided community improv shows, promoted the art of improv, and educated individuals in the art of improv. Established in 1999 and officially incorporated as a non-profit society in 2012, TMP was proudly supported by the City of Richmond Arts & Culture Project Assistance Grant.
Bored of Directors
Bored of Directors aims to satirize powerful corporations; we explore the lives of the people working for them as they navigate greedy bosses, competitive co-workers, and passive aggressive emails. We combine long form with games interspersed to keep the tempo moving. The cast includes Noah Sturton, Jennifer Tong, Brad Critch, Sharon Lo Luistro, Bennett Taylor, Maddy Rafter, Matt Beaver, and Aidan Wright. You might have seen them winning the 2021 summer Cagematch festival at Havana, or opening up for LMG at the 2021 Vancouver Improv Festival.
No Mortgage
Formed in 2024, No Mortgage is an improv team built on a shared struggle: housing prices too high, laughs too low. Alexis Hamrak, Michaela Dunn, Mikey Telias, Mohamed Mahamoor, and Robin Leslie bring their experience in long-form and short-form improv, and event production to every performance. From schools and theatres to comedy clubs, they deliver shows full of wit, creativity, and a touch of financial frustration.
